We’re excited to announce the launch of the “Talken Ecosystem Grant Program” — an initiative designed to accelerate the growth, innovation, and adoption of the Talken ecosystem. We believe in the power of collaboration and the potential of our community, developers, and ecosystem partners to drive meaningful advancements.
The Talken Ecosystem Grant Program aims to provide funding support to individuals and teams with a clear vision for contributing to the expansion and promotion of the Talken Ecosystem. All funding for approved grants will be financed through the Talken DAO Treasury, which plays a crucial role in sustaining and funding this initiative.
By fostering a collaborative environment, we are committed to empowering contributors who bring value through innovative projects and initiatives.
How to Apply for a Grant
1. Proposal Submission & Community Discussion
Community members, developers, and ecosystem partners with a clear plan to contribute to the advancement of the Talken Ecosystem are invited to submit their proposals to Talken’s official support (Zendesk) with the following details:
- Title: A concise title that captures the essence of your grant proposal.
- Proposer(s): Information about the applicant(s), including relevant experience and key achievements.
- Summary: A brief, 3–4 sentence overview of the proposal.
- Details: A comprehensive explanation of how the proposal benefits the Talken Ecosystem, including estimated timelines, costs, and any additional relevant information.
Once submitted, the Talken team will review and structure the proposal before sharing it with the Talken Telegram and Discord community for a one-week discussion period. Community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions to refine the proposal into a well-structured plan.
2. Voting Process
Following the discussion phase, the finalized proposal will be moved to the voting stage, where governance token holders can vote “For” or “Against” the proposal using their tokens.
- Voting will take place within the Talken Governance framework and may also be facilitated via Snapshot.
- The voting period will last for one week.
3. Outcome & Execution
Once a proposal has been approved through the voting process, implementation will begin immediately from the approval date. Talken will provide funding support according to the agreed-upon plan, ensuring that the initiative is executed efficiently and successfully.
